Aepona and WaveMarket form partnership for worldwide LBS services

April 2, 2016

Aepona, a Belfast-based provider of software products and solutions to global telcos, has formed a partnership with WaveMarket to provide location-based tracking services for carriers worldwide. Based in California, WaveMarket is a leader in location-based services.

Aepona’s industry-leading platform provides the ideal foundation for WaveMarket’s suite of location applications. Aepona’s carrier customers can now offer WaveMarket’s valuable location-based services to its users quickly and easily.

In addition to its Veriplace Location Privacy Platform, WaveMarket develops location-enabled applications for both businesses and consumers, including family safety, pet tracking, enterprise tracking, mobile local search and navigation, and friend finder.

Veriplace will allow Aepona’s carrier partners to quickly and securely deploy new location applications with other LBS vendors while protecting the security and privacy of their users.

The partnership will facilitate the rapid expansion of WaveMarket’s services, which are already used by carriers in North America and Latin America, whilst enabling Aepona’s carrier partners to offer customers these popular location-enabled applications.
